AarKay & Mid-Day Meal Scheme:

 AarKay Education Development Society has been supplying Mid Day Meal to 22 MCD School in South Zone. Society has been successfully catering to theses schools having an approximate number of 12000 children.

AarKay has successfully implemented the project and distribution management in year 2003-2004. Society has been given further extension of the project in the year of 2004-2005.

Infra Structure for the Scheme: 

1.         Fully equipped Modern Kitchen (In accordance to MCD Standards) with fire fighting arrangements

2.          Two vehicles for better Distribution Management

3.          One/two society personal for distribution in each school.

4.          Project Coordinators for direct supervision of food quality and hygiene

5.          Proper waste disposal techniques

Our Efforts 

1.          Special attention to Worker Hygiene, Store Hygiene and Cooking Space Hygiene

2.          100% success rate in timely distribution of the food

3.          Hygiene and warmth of the food

4.          Quantity and Quality of the food (As per guidelines of Nutrition Foundation of India)

AarKay Education Development Society is a group of professionals mainly from the field of healthcare, who understand the value of hygiene and importance of nutrition in a child’s life. Our main focus is to provide Hygienic and Warm food in adequate quantity and quality to the future of our country.

Documented evidence in different states of India shows cooked mid-day meal programs have been most effective in promoting and fostering primary and secondary education in India. Mid-day meal programs have been successfully attracting children to schools (increasing enrolment), retaining them in schools (reducing drop-outs) and help them perform better in schools
